Carol Burnett and Friends was sketch comedy TV show and had premiered on CBS from October 1, 1972 to March 1, 1978. It starred Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner and produced by Punkin' Productions, Inc. (1967-76) and Whacko, Inc. (1976-78). The executive producer of this show was Joe Hamilton which this long-running show was nominated and awarded several Emmy's awards. The show was a syndicated and truncated version of The Carol Burnett Show, in every episode that they aired it featured a new guest star. For the brief story of the show, Vicki Lawrence was the only cast member other than Burnett who remain for the entire run series. Although Tim Conway, has remembered for his appearances on the series he didn't become a full-time cast member. While, Harvey Korman left the show and been temporarily replaced by Dick Van Dyke. Other original cast member, Lyle Waggoner also left the show because of he wants to pursue his dramatic acting career and eventually had been part in Wonder Woman.
